Hailing from the Philippines, and an alumnus of the Centre for Culinary Arts in Manila, Razon is an accomplished chef bringing an impressive breadth of experience to Miss Mi.
This highly anticipated event offers Accor Plus members a privileged sneak peek into Razon’s first menu at Miss Mi Melbourne, with four courses showcasing innovative dishes that fuse traditional Southeast Asian ingredients with modern culinary techniques.
Each dish highlights Razon’s culinary expertise, from freshly shucked oysters with nga yok chin and orange blossom granita and Filipino pork Hamonado with puffed rice and makrut to a rich and wonderfully aromatic Panang duck curry.
The evening ends on a spectacular sweet note with not one but two new desserts; Champorado with dark chocolate biko, rice ice cream and umami powder and a Maja Blanca sweet corn ice cream sandwich.
Thanks to Miss Mi’s partner 7000 Islands, this menu comes paired with either a selection of 3 x wines or 3 x cocktails. Take your pick of exceptional ‘Oro Plata Mata’ small batch wines from Gruyere in the Yarra Valley, or delectable cocktails featuring award-winning Ube Cream Liqueur.
